Raising the Bar: Our ISO Certification and What It Means for the Future

Wednesday 30 July, 2025
by Clea Vazquez

I’m incredibly proud to share that BIC Consolidated has successfully completed our latest ISO surveillance audit, achieving continued certification across four internationally recognised standards.

BIC is now certified for:

  • ISO 9001:2015  – Quality Management
  • ISO 14001:2015  – Environmental Management
  • ISO 45001:2018  – Occupational Health & Safety
  • ISO 10002:2018  – Customer Satisfaction (non-JASANZ)

While the certifications themselves are a strong endorsement of our practices, what’s most important is what they  represent - our deep, day-to-day commitment to safety, quality, sustainability, and service excellence.

A Year of Transformation

We used this opportunity not only to scale but to strengthen. Through a dedicated integration program, we harmonised our management systems and processes into a single, high-performing  Integrated Management System (IMS),  scalable, robust, and fit for a national organisation.

Our rebranding efforts have also helped unify our identity and reflect who we’ve become: a purpose-driven, people-first leader in integrated facility services.

What the Audit Found

Conducted by TQCSI, the audit covered sites across Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth, and I’m proud to report that we received:

  • Zero major or minor nonconformances
  • Recognition for mature systems  and engaged leadership
  • Praise for our risk and compliance frameworks
  • Commendation for our use of digital tools  in performance tracking and document control

Acknowledgement of our proactive safety and environmental practices across all sites

This tells me that our IMS is not just compliant, it’s deeply embedded in our culture, empowering teams to deliver consistently and safely, no matter where they operate.

Looking Ahead

Of course, certification is not the end goal, it’s a milestone in our journey of continuous improvement.

In the coming months, we’ll be rolling out “ The Loop,” our new company-wide intranet designed to enhance collaboration, communication, and knowledge sharing across the business. We’re also implementing  Dayforce, a modern HR platform that will take our workforce management and training compliance to the next level.

These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to future-proof our operations and continue setting industry benchmarks in quality, safety, environmental stewardship, and customer satisfaction.

My Thanks

I want to thank everyone across BIC Consolidated who contributed to this achievement. Certification isn’t won in the audit room, it’s earned through the daily actions of people who care deeply about what they do. Your commitment makes this possible.

Here’s to continuing to lead by example.
