NABERS accredited assessor

NABERS Accredited Assessors are sustainability consultants, trained and accredited to perform NABERS ratings. They carry out physical assessments of buildings to collect and verify data required to provide a NABERS rating.
NABERS is a star-rating system that allows you to compare the energy efficiency, water usage, indoor air quality, waste management, and carbon emissions of buildings.

Science Base Targets Initiative Supporter

Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) – validated Science Based Targets

The Science Based Targets initiative is a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wildlife Fund (now known as WWF).

The SBTi drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by enabling companies to set science-based emissions reduction targets (SBTs).

BIC Services’ SBTs were validated by the SBTi in October 2021.
We have committed to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 and upstream scope 3 GHG emissions 42% by FY2030 from a FY2020 base year.

BIC Consolidated commits to increase annual sourcing of renewable electricity from 0% in FY2020 to 100% by FY2030.

Reconciliation Australia is an independent not-for profit organisation and lead body for reconciliation in Australia. They promote and facilitate reconciliation by building relationships, respect and trust between the wider Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Reconciliation Australia provide guidance and have reviewed and endorsed our Reconciliation Action Plans for both BIC and Consolidated Property Services in prior years.

Property Industry Foundation (The Foundation), National Partner

The Foundation’s purpose is to increase the availability of transitional housing for homeless youth (aged 25 and under)
In addition to contributing funds and our people putting their hands up for volunteering activities, we will be exploring the opportunity to increase our support by providing pro-bono services, and training and an employment pathway for young people in the care of The Foundation’s community partners.

The Facility Management Association is a peak national industry body for facilities management, representing and supporting professionals and organisations responsible for the operational management of Australia’s built environments. A primary focus of the FMA is to ensure the needs of professionals and organisations working in and dealing with facilities management are understood and considered in government and business policy formulation and decision making.
